Terry Patten is an Integral coach, teacher, trainer, consultant, and writer. He is committed to serving the emergence of Integral consciousness—by writing and educating, and by helping conscious individuals and organizations negotiate extraordinary transitions.
Together with Ken Wilber he co-authored the new book "Integral Life Practice: A 21st-Century Blueprint for Physical Health, Emotional Balance, Mental Clarity, and Spiritual Awakening".
Terry is a seasoned Integral practitioner and teacher. He began walking a “trans-path” spiritual path 35 years ago. His service to others has given him the unique opportunity to explore the most advanced tools—and the most venerable traditions—for unlocking human awareness and potential. He has spent decades as a rational explorer of the states, structures, shadows, and shared experiences at the frontiers of human evolution. In the process he has also become a successful entrepreneur, a grass-roots conservationist, and a skilled business consultant. He lives with his wife Deborah in San Rafael, California.

This seminar will help you to understand, and, even more important, to experience the "new wave" of Integral consciousness that is beginning to change our world. And it will show you how to practice that Integral consciousness—to allow your highest awareness to come alive as you.
This seminar is oriented towards both beginners and longtime serious practitioners. It is designed to be a clarifying new beginning—a chance to actually shift gears into a higher octave of awareness, aliveness, effectiveness, and service, and to do so in a grounded, sustainable way. Our format will continually morph. We'll go from listening to speaking to silent meditation. From sitting together in a circle, we'll clear the space for movement, then sit theatre style, then in small intimate circles, then sit separately, journaling. We will use our left, then our right brains. Then we'll exercise or dance. Then we might hear from various buried internal "voices."
Most of all, we’ll wake up into our oneness with all existence and our unique personal humanity, including our individual mission and purpose. We’ll especially explore our intimacy with the Mystery of existence, investigating how this primary love-relationship can energize our heart, empower our practice, and help transform our whole life.

Spirit can be experienced in at least 3 fundamental ways, which correspond to the 3 perspectives inherent in natural language: as a 1st-person "I," as a 2nd-person "Thou," or as a 3rd-person "It."Each perspective on and of Spirit reveals a distinct, and equally true, good, and beautiful "face" of the Ultimate. A full and rich relationship to Spirit will thus necessarily comprise each of these 3 faces, even while Spirit, in its radical depth and mystery, ultimately goes beyond any and all perspectives.
